Project No. 29 – Scholarship awarding in Ha Tinh province
Status October, 2019: On October 25th, 2019 the LOAN Foundation team (LOAN Stiftung) (Isabelle Müller, Corinna Buchholz, Bui Thu Huong and Tran Quang Phu) visited (at one’s own expense and not at the expense of the foundation) Ha Tinh province. We visited 3 schools;
- Boarding High School in Ha Tinh
- Primary school in Huong Lien village (about 60 Kilometer far from Ha Tinh city)
- Kindergarten in Ban Rao (Commune of Huong Lien)
In total, 51 poor ethnic minority children received our scholarship amounting VND 500.000,00 (approx. € 25,00 / Total budget € 1.275,00). We rewarded their good grades at school. With this money, they will buy additional school materials and clothes. Following ethnic minorities were represented: Man, Lao, Chut, Thai und Muong.
